Start By:
- Remove the fan.
- Remove the aftercoolers.
- Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device onto guard assembly (1). The weight of guard assembly (1) is approximately
82 kg (180 lb) . - Remove bolts (2).

Illustration 10 g02148211 - Use Tooling (B) in order to loosen the upper radiator cores (11) at the top and the bottom. Use Tooling (C) in order to remove the upper radiator cores (11). Remove the felt liner from the radiator tubes. Repeat this step for the remaining radiator cores.
