Description of Change: A drain hole is now provided in the box in order to drain the water that may enter the exhaust line through the cracks in the dump body.

Adaptable To: The improved 288-5317 Box and 288-5269 Box is adaptable to the machines BZZ1-501 and RLB1-556.

The improved 288-5317 Box and 288-5269 Box is effective in production with the machines BZZ502-UP and RLB557-UP.

The 288-5317 Box is a part of 288-5316 Exhaust Pipe Gp and 288-5269 Box is a part of 288-5291 Exhaust Pipe Gp .

Use the following procedure to drill a hole in the box of the exhaust pipe group:

1. Remove the 300-7321 Plate As (1) that is attached to the bottom side of the box (2) .

(A) 10 mm (0.4 inch) (B) 20 mm (0.8 inch) (C) 100 mm (3.9 inch)

2. Drill a through hole to dimension (A) on the bottom side of the box. Refer to the Illustration 2 for the location of the hole.

3. Reinstall the 300-7321 Plate As .
