Usage:

(1) Diameter of gear bore for bearing ... 60.163 ± 0.015 mm (2.3686 ± .0006 in)

(2) Gear assembly (Idler gear).

(3) Ring assembly. TDC occurs when the slot edge is in the center of the electronic control (speed sensor).

(4) Air compressor drive gear.

(5) Front face of the block.

(6) Front timing gear housing.

(7) Camshaft.

(8) Water pump drive gear

(9) Front face of block.

(10) Idler gear. Diameter of gear bore for bearing ... 74.452 ± 0.015 mm (2.9312 ± .0006 in)

Diameter of shaft for idler gear ... 69.321 ± 0.020 mm (2.7292 ± .0008 in)

(11) Oil pump drive gear.

(12) Idler gear.

Diameter of shaft for idler gear ... 55.047 ± 0.020 mm (2.1672 ± .0008 in)

(13) Crankshaft.

(14) Crankshaft gear. Heat gear to a maximum temperature of 316° C (601° F) for installation.

(15) Hydraulic pump drive gear.

(16) Align timing marks on idler gear with marks on crankshaft gear and camshaft gear as shown.
