Air Manifold (Inlet) - Remove and Install
Removal Procedure
Start By:
- Remove the hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Remove".
- Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position in order to disconnect the battery.
- Loosen clamps (1) . Remove bolts (2) . Remove clamps (3) .

- Loosen clamps (5) . Remove tubes (4) .

- Disconnect fittings (6) and (8) . Loosen clamps (9) . Remove elbows (7) .

- Remove O-ring seals (11) . Remove bolts (10) and (12) .

- Disconnect harness assembly (13) . Remove cable straps (15) . Remove plate (14) .

- Remove bolts (16) and (18) . Position plate (17) out of the way.

- Remove bolts (19) . Position hose assembly (21) out of the way.

- Repeat Step 8 for the opposite side.
- Loosen bolts (22) . Remove support assembly (20) .
- Disconnect harness assemblies (23) .

- Install the gaskets and air inlet manifolds (37) and (38) . Install bolts (36) and (39) .

- Position harness assembly (35) . Install bolts (33) and (30) . Connect harness assemblies (34) , (32) , and (31) .
