(A) Orientation of the grease fitting ... 18 ± 1 degrees

(1) Apply the minimum three layers of 8T-9022 Silicone Gasket to two plates.

(2) Torque for seven bolts ... 40 ± 8 N·m (30 ± 6 lb ft)

(3) The maximum gap between the load stops must be less than 2.0 mm (0.08 inch). As required, use 287-4220 Shim in order to obtain the required gap. The maximum of three shims per side should be used:

Thickness of one shim ... 2.0 mm (0.08 inch)

• If the gap is greater or equal to 2 mm (0.08 inch) and less than 4 mm (0.16 inch), add one shim.

• If the gap is greater or equal to 4 mm (0.16 inch) and less than 6 mm (0.24 inch), add two shims.

• If the gap is greater or equal to 6 mm (0.24 inch) and less than 8 mm (0.32 inch), add three shims.
