Description of Change:

New high strength bolts are now used for the spiral bevel gears in the differential for the front and the rear axle.

Adaptable To: The new 287-3585 Bolts replace the former 6V-3532 Bolts. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 130 ± 30 N·m (96 ± 22 lb ft). Tighten the bolts for an additional 120°± 10°. The new bolts are effective with the following machines.

• 836H (S/N: BXD405-UP)

• 834H (S/N: BTX199-UP)

• 988H (S/N: BXY1019-UP)

This change is adaptable to first production for the machines that are listed.

Note: The 287-3585 Bolts have now been replaced with a 160-8510 Self-Locking Bolt .
