(2) Fan Drive Pump (3) Steering Charge Pump (4) Steering Pump |
Steering pump (4) is mounted on the upper left of the engine flywheel housing. Steering charge pump (3) is located on the rear of steering pump (4). Fan drive pump (2) is mounted to the rear of steering charge pump (3) .
Fan drive pump (2) is a fixed displacement gear pump. The pump provides the oil flow that is needed to operate the hydraulic fan motor. Fan drive pump (2) also provides the flow that is needed to move the counterweight. When the counterweight control lever is activated, flow is diverted from the fan hydraulic system to the counterweight cylinders. Normal operation of the fan hydraulic system resumes when the counterweight control lever is released.

(5) Fan Drive Motor (6) Fan Reversing Valve |
Fan drive motor (5) is located at the front of the machine in front of the radiator and in the middle of the radiator guard.
Fan drive motor (5) is a fixed displacement bent axis motor. This hydraulic motor turns the fan that pulls air through the radiator. An optional bidirectional fan motor is available. The optional bidirectional fan motor requires a reversing valve.
If the machine is equipped with the optional reversing fan, fan reversing valve (6) is installed. Fan reversing valve (6) controls the direction of the flow of oil to the fan drive motor. The direction of the flow of oil determines the direction of rotation of the fan.
Fan reversing valve (6) is located inside the front radiator guard, as shown.

(7) Remote Fan Pressure Port (8) Fan Motor Bypass Valve |
Remote Fan Pressure Port (7) and Fan Motor Bypass Valve (8) are located under the radiator. Remote Fan Pressure Port (7) and Fan Motor Bypass Valve (8) can be accessed by removing the plate that is just below the radiator.
Remote Fan Pressure Port (7) measures the pressure of oil that is supplied to the fan motor. Fan Motor Bypass Valve (8). Fan Motor Bypass Valve (8) controls fan speed. Fan Motor Bypass Valve (8) allows oil to bypass the fan in order to decrease fan speed when less cooling is required.

(9) Hydraulic Oil Cooler (10) Bypass Valve |
Hydraulic oil cooler (9) is located in front of the engine and behind the radiator on the right side of the radiator guard. The hydraulic oil cooler cools the oil that comes from the outlet of the fan motor.
Bypass valve (10) is located on the right frame rail behind hydraulic oil cooler (9). Bypass valve (10) allows the oil to bypass the cooler when the oil is cold.

(11) Remote Pump Outlet Pressure Port |
Pressure port (11) is located at the rear of the tractor under the fuel tank.
Pressure port (11) measures the pressure of the oil at the outlet side of fan drive pump (2). This is the oil that is delivered to the inlet side of counterweight control valve (1) .
