Usage:
Be sure the fuel injection line clamps are installed in the correct locations. Incorrectly installed clamps may allow the injection lines to vibrate and become damaged. The damaged lines may leak and cause a fire. |
(1) Clamp locations (A,B and C) are in reference to a horizontal centerline (1) through the center of the fuel pump outlets.
(2) Clamp locations (D through G) are in reference to a vertical centerline (2) through the center of the number five fuel pump outlet.
(3) Clamp locations (H through M) are in reference to a vertical centerline (3) through the center of the number one fuel pump outlet.
(4) Tighten the fuel line nuts to a torque of ... 40 ± 7 N·m (30 ± 5 lb ft)
