Note: After assembly, the sleeve bearings must not extend beyond either side face of the cylinder assembly.

(1) 9R-0139 Sleeve Bearing

Inside diameter ... 55.309 ± 0.020 mm (2.1775 ± 0.0008 inch)

Outside diameter ... 68.105 ± 0.013 mm (2.6813 ± 0.0005 inch)

(2) Torque for the bolt ... 2600 ± 260 N·m (1920 ± 190 lb ft)

Note: Lubricate the threads of the head with clean grease before assembly.

(3) Torque for the head ... 600 ± 130 N·m (440 ± 95 lb ft)

(4) Lubricate the sealing lip of the buffer seal assembly lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

(5) Lubricate the sealing lip of the U-cup seal lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

(6) Lubricate the sealing lip of the rod wiper lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

(7) Apply 1U-8846 Gasket Sealant to the bottom of the connector plate before assembly.

(B) Bore of the cylinder assembly ... 95.25 ± 0.08 mm (3.750 ± 0.003 inch)

(C) Bore of the head over four lands ... 70.13 ± 0.03 mm (2.761 ± 0.001 inch)

(D) Diameter of the rod assembly ... 69.800 ± 0.038 mm (2.7480 ± 0.0015 inch)

Note: After assembly, the sleeve bearings must not extend beyond either side face of the rod assembly.

(8) 9R-0162 Sleeve Bearing
