Description of Change: The light covers on the old lighting group have been installed with glue. The new lighting group uses bolts, nuts, and washers instead of glue. Also, debris may enter the cover assembly. The new lighting group includes seals around the cover assemblies in order to prevent the entry of debris.

Adaptable To: The new lighting group is adaptable to the first production of the machines that are listed above.

The top view of the cab is shown with the new seal in place. View A-A is shown with the new light cover. (1) 5P-0806 Seal. (2) 197-2932 Cover. (3) 8T-4136 Bolt. (4) 8T-4121 Hard Washer. (5) 8T-4133 Nut .

1. Remove the old light cover if the cover is still in place.

2. Drill four holes and use Illustration 3 as a template.

3. Inspect the light group and determine if seal (1) is in place. Put seal (1) in place around the cover assembly if the seal has not been previously installed. The seal will keep debris from accumulating inside cover assembly.

4. Install cover (2) with bolts (3), washers (4), and nuts (5) .

The light cover may be fabricated using Lexan MR-10. The dimensions for fabrication are shown in Illustration 3.
