PROBLEM
The existing 9S4183 Plug can corrode on certain C32 heat exchanged engines. If the existing plug fails it can/will leak sea water. |

ACTION REQUIRED
Remove the 9S-4183 Plug shown in Image1 from the 286-7013 Lines Gp-Aux and the 296-7618 Lines Gp-Aux. Ensure the threads are clean and free from debris. Install a new 8T-5090 Plug and 6V-5063 O-Ring. |

It is strongly recommended to perform this service at the next oil change. If travel is required on vessels with multiple affected engines installed it is recommended to perform this service on all affected engines on the same trip. If the plug has been removed in order to use the plug port with a gear cooler no action is needed. |
