SUBJECT: RADIATOR INFORMATION NEEDED FOR 3412C ENGINES.

PROBLEM:

Product health has been made aware of several early hour failures to the radiators on the above product. In order to rapidly identify the failure modes and make improvements, Product Health should be notified if any failures occur with the radiator part numbers 225-1456, 225-1457, 241-7649 and 241-7650. All SIMS entries should be made immediately. Additional technical support should be channeled through your local technical coordinator.

Required information needed: (This information can be obtained from a label attached to the side of the radiator.)

  1. Part Number
  2. Reference Number
  3. Serial Number (Radiator)
  4. Man Date
  5. Brief description of the failure and the genset serial number
