SUBJECT: Certain 40-Pin to 70-Pin Adapter Harnesses That Are Used With a Troll Processor May Need to Be Rewired
PROBLEM:
On certain 40-Pin to 70-Pin Adapter Harnesses, the J1939 Shield and the J1939 Positive wires may be reversed between the 6-pin receptacle (labeled "J1939") and the 3-pin connector (labeled "J1939-ETP"). When a troll processor is connected to the 40-Pin to 70-Pin adapter harness, a loss of J1939 data link will result.
