Usage:
Problem:
The black 14-gauge wire that goes between the negative terminal of the alternator and the energized-to-run fuel shutoff solenoid may be incorrectly installed on the fuel shutoff solenoid on some of these engines.
Solution:
Check the wiring between the alternator negative (ground) terminal and the negative (ground) terminal of the energized-to-run fuel shutoff solenoid. The black 14-gauge wire that is connected to the negative terminal of the alternator should be connected to the negative terminal (bottom terminal) of the energized-to-run fuel shutoff solenoid. See the included illustration.
The checking and possible rework will be covered by standard warranty.
