Auxiliary Hydraulic Control Pedal Does Not Operate Correctly

Usage:

EXCAVATOR302.5 (4AZ312-748) MINI-HYDRUALIC EXCAVATOR

Problem:

The auxiliary hydraulic control pedal operates in the opposite direction as shown in the Operation & Maintenance Manual. The result of this maybe one of the following:

* Work Tool when connected to machine may not operate.
* Work Tool when connected to machine may operate in opposite direction.

A service letter will be forthcoming to address the problem.

Solution:

1. Test machines with serial numbers within the range mentioned for the issue mentioned. If the machine exhibits the symptoms follow the procedure below:
2. Park the machine. Refer to SEBU7203 Operation & Maintenance Manual.
3. Park the machine. Refer to SEBU7203 Operation & Maintenance Manual.
4. Locate the the PTO Valve section. See Illustration 1.
5. Remove the hoses connected to Port A4 and Port B4.
6. Place the hose that was on Port A4 onto Port B4.

NOTE: Check O-Ring for damage and replace if necessary.

7. Place the hose that was on Port B4 onto Port A4.
8. Replace the floor plate and the floor mat.
