In order to allow equitable parts availability to all participating dealers, please limit your initial parts order to not exceed 32% of dealership population. This is an initial order recommendation only, and the ultimate responsibility for ordering the total number of parts needed to satisfy the program lies with the dealer.
|
Monitor boost pressure trends through VIMS. If boost pressure trends are decreasing, follow Special Instruction, REHS9563. If nothing is found, the turbos need to be inspected for a wear step in the bearing housing, as described in REHS9563. Only rework turbochargers that are found to have the extra step machined into the bearing housing.
This program can be used to inspect and rework from 1 to 4 turbos.
Record the turbocharger serial number and take a photo of the extra step machined into the bearing housing for each turbocharger that is reworked. |
