NOTE: | This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI32509" as the Part Number and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI32509" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |

PROBLEM
The air cleaner case assembly needs to be inspected and possibly replaced on certain C32 Marine Engines. The existing air cleaner case assembly may not connect to the breather correctly. |

ACTION REQUIRED
Before completing the attached Rework Procedure, please review the safety actions in the Operation and Maintenance Manual for the engine. If the engine is in service remove the 448-3681 (Left Hand Side) and 448-3682 (Right Hand Side) Cleaner Gp's. Inspect the breather connection on each air cleaner. The breather connection should be at a 40 +/-5 degree angle as shown on Image 1 and Image 2 for the 447-7305 Case As (Left Hand Side) and 448-3680 Case As (Right Hand Side) respectively. If the air cleaner has the correct breather connection angle reinstall removed air cleaners. If the air cleaner has the incorrect breather connection angle replace the case assembly and o-ring. |
