NOTE: | This Program must be administered either before or after failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS44696" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |

PROBLEM
The existing coolant tube can rub against the current non-grommeted clip on certain C175 Locomotive Engines. If the existing tube is rubbed through it can/will result in a coolant leak. |

ACTION REQUIRED
Remove the 6V-4248 and 6V-4357 Clamps. Inspect the 3468852/">346-8852 Coolant Tube under the 6V-4248 and 6V-4357 Clamp. Refer to Image1. If the clip has removed material from the tube replace the tube in addition to following the attached Rework Procedure. If no wear is found on the tube do not replace the tube and only follow the attached Rework Procedure. |

Note: This Design may cause the Bracket to contact the casting of the Oil Cooler Bypass. Inspect the clearance between the bracket and the casting of the Oil Cooler Bypass. Prior to assembly the following must be checked 1. Place ONLY the 164-6819 Spacers in their location against the Oil Cooler Bypass casting. (reference Image1.1.1) 2. Using a straight edge ensure there is no contact with the housing (A). (reference Image1.1.2) 3. If Required: Lightly polish the casting to allow for no contact between the straight edge and the casting. |

3. Adjust the hole location 4 mm up from current location of the 346-8854 Bracket where the new clip will be mounted. (reference Image1.2.1) |
