PROBLEM
The integral tank on certain C9 Generator Sets may have shipped without a blocking plate installed at the radiator cross beam. The generator set may exhibit poor cooling performance due to the recirculation of hot air. |

1) Refer to Image 1.2.1 and modify blocking plate by drilling two 3/8" holes to allow for proper installation behind radiator cross beam. Reference location B equals 1516.6 x 350.8, Reference location C equals 101.6 x 350.8. |

2) Utilizing enclosure door openings maneuver blocking plate into position below radiator cross beam for mounting. Refer to Image 1.3.1 for details to assist with orienting blocking plate into proper position. |

3) Utilizing blocking plate as template mark radiator cross beam with punch. Drill two 3/8" holes in radiator cross beam to secure blocking plate behind radiator cross beam. Secure blocking plate to radiator cross beam with two 0S-1594 Bolts, two 9A-8752 Nuts and four 5M-2894 Washers. Refer to Image 1.4.1 for details on proper mounting of blocking plate. |
