Description of Change: The 115-1886 Bracket Assembly, which is used to support the engine hood liner, has been modified to allow increased clearance for the air conditioner compressor components. Previously, the 114-5333 Air Conditioner Compressor Pressure Switch was subject to being damaged or broken off by the hood liner when the hood was closed.

The vertical length of the support bracket has been shortened from 75 mm (3.0 in) to 60 mm (2.4 in) to eliminate interference with the pressure switch. (See Illustration 1.)
Adaptable To: The modified 155-1886 Bracket Assembly is effective with the 914G (7ZM345, 9WM730) Wheel Loaders and IT14G (8ZM245, 1WN475) Integrated Toolcarriers. The bracket assembly is part of the 107-4709 Hood and Guard Group.

The modified 155-1886 Bracket Assembly is a direct replacement for the original bracket assembly. Earlier machines are adaptable by removing the hood liner (2), replacing the four existing bracket assemblies (1) with the modified bracket assemblies, and reinstalling the hood liner (2).
