Description of Change: 24 volt radios and Antitheft radios have been replaced by 12 volt non-antitheft units coupled with voltage converters to increase reliability. The 12 volt radios also include weatherbands for the US versions.

Adaptable To: The selection of available radios has been standardized and now consists of three 12 volt radios. These three units replace a variety of former units. In some cases a voltage converter is necessary for installation, and in other cases both the converter and an installation kit are required. The following chart lists the service replacement radios, voltage converters, installation kits, and corresponding discontinued radios.
