Description of Change: Process changes have resulted in an improved braze joint between the end castings and body on oil cooler core assemblies. This improvement reduces the possibility of leaks within the oil cooler core assemblies.

Adaptable To: New part numbers are used to provide a better tracking record. The new part numbers listed in Chart 1 are direct replacements for their respective former part numbers in the machines listed above. The improvements were incorporated on the former parts beginning with June 1996 and continuing with later date codes.

Chart 2 lists machines and their corresponding engine serial number effectivity.
