The term "Long Life Coolant Antifreeze (LLCA)" is incorrect. The correct terminology is "Extended Life Coolant (ELC)".

The August effectivity date listed for all Tractors, Quarry Trucks, and Trucks is also incorrect. The correct effectivity date was September 23, 1996. The addition of Extended Life Coolant (ELC) was effective with 776D (5ER1), 784B (5RK24) Tractors; 769D (5TR369), 771D (6JR108), 773D (7ER273), 775D (6KR106), 777D (3PR204), 785B (6HK650), 789B (7EK516), and 793C (4AR80) OFF-Highway Trucks.

The purpose of this early notification is to prevent the mixing of Long Life Coolant Antifreeze (LLCA) with other products which will reduce the effectiveness of the Long Life Coolant Antifreeze (LLCA).

The other reason for this early notification is to allow dealer/user an opportunity to reduce the level of the bulk-tank arrangements with their suppliers for the current standard coolant.
