New Components Added To Radiator Group, Aftercooler Group, Water Lines Group, And Expansion Tank Group Allow Installation Of Coolant Temperature And Coolant Level Sensor {1063,1353,1354,1380}

Description of Change: New components are used in the radiator group and aftercooler group on 789 and 789B Trucks. New components are also used in the water lines groups and expansion tank group on 793 and 793B Trucks. The difference between the new and former components is the addition of bosses for the installation of coolant temperature sensors and coolant level sensors. These sensor are used in conjunction with the Vital Information Management Sustem (VIMS). If these sensors are not required, the bosses must be plugged to prevent coolant loss.

Adaptable To: The changes to the 2W-3715 Aftercooler Group are identified in Chart A and are effective with 789B (7EK201) Truck. The changes to the 7E-2506 Radiator Group are identified in Chart B and are effective with 789B (7EK11278) Truck. The changes to the 9Y-8908 Water Lines Group are identified in Chart C and are effective with 793B (1HL51) Truck. The changes to the 9Y-8889 Water Lines Group are identified in Chart D and are effective with 793B (1HL51) Truck. The changes to the 9Y-8918 Expansion Tank Group are identified in Chart E and effective with 793B (1HL67) Truck.
