Description of Change: A new oil filter shield and shield mounting screws are used on the oil filter base assemblies on 3500 Machine Engines. The use of the new shield and mounting screws will help prevent possible cracking of the filter base assembly.
Location of new 111-6119 Oil Filter Shield (1) and 7F-9090 Screw (2) on typical oil filter base assembly.
Adaptable To: The new 111-6119 Oil Filter Shield and 7F-9090 Screw are direct replacements for the former 4N-7082 Oil Filter Shield and 6V-6718 Screw on oil filter base assemblies. One new 111-6119 Oil Filter Shield and two 7F-9090 Screws are required for each filter location on the base assembly.
