Longer Grease Hose Assembly Used In Fan Belt Tightener Groups{1358,1359}

Description of Change: A new longer grease hose assembly is used in the fan belt tightener groups. The use of the longer hose assembly allows the same hose assembly to be used on both mechanical unit injection (MUI) and electronic unit injection (EUI) engines.

A new stronger spring retainer bracket is used in the belt tightener group on 793B Trucks. The spring retainer bracket has been made stronger in the belt tightener group on 994 Loaders.

Adaptable To: The new 2V-0460 Hose Assembly is a direct replacement for the former 3V-7516 Hose Assembly in the belt tighten groups on the above machines.

The new 107-8725 Bracket Assembly (spring retainer bracket) is a direct replacement for the former 9Y-9410 Bracket Assembly in the 9Y-8898 Belt Tightener Group on 793B Trucks.

The 102-9804 Bracket Assembly (spring retainer bracket) in the 102-9793 Belt Tightener Group on 994 Loaders has been made stronger with the addition of two reinforcing plates. The part number of the stronger bracket assembly has not changed.

The new components are in effect as shown in the chart.
