Description of Change: A new alternator is now used on some Articulated Trucks. The new alternator is a 50 amp alternator. The former alternator was rated at 40 amps.

Adaptable To: The new 100-5047 Alternator replaces the former 5N-5692 Alternator. The new alternator is effective with D20D (9MG119), D25D (1HK310), D250D (6NG232), D30D (3AJ302), D300D (5MG117) and D350D (9RF437) Articulated Trucks. The 100-5047 Alternator can be installed on earlier machines when a larger 3T-4692 Ring Terminal is installed on the wire going to the positive post on the alternator and 110-8769 Wire Assembly is spliced into the alternator ground cable.
