New Electronic Control Groups (Rack Position Sensor And Timing Position Sensor) Provide Increased Reliability {1905,1911}

Description of Change: New electronic control groups are used in the governor and fuel injection pump control groups and timing control groups. The new electronic control groups provide increased reliability.

Adaptable To: When used together, the new 9X7793 Electronic Control Group (rack position sensor) and 4P9667 Collar are direct replacements for the former 9W0493 Electronic Control Group and 4W2592 Collar in the governor and fuel injection pump groups. See Illustration 1. When used together, the new 9X9555 Electronic Control Group (timing position sensor) and 4P9667 Collar are direct replacements for the former 9W0497 Electronic Control Group and 4W2592 Collar in the timing control groups. See Illustration 2.
