New Oil Filter Element Assembly Used In Oil Filter Groups{1318}

Description of Change: A new oil filter element assembly is used in the oil filter groups. The new element assembly has a grommet type end seal. The seal has a steel ring insert to prevent it from blowing into the inside of the filter. The seal is mechanically attached to the end caps and requires no adhesive to hold it in place.

Adaptable To: The part number of the improved 4W9968, 4W7078 and 4W6874 Oil Filter Groups have not changed. The new 4P2839 Oil Filter Element Assembly replaces the former 7N7500 Oil Filter Element Assembly.
