Usage:
1. Drain the coolant to a level below the cylinder heads.
2. Remove tube assemblies (1).
3. Remove upper plate (2).
4. Remove two fan guards (3).
5. Mark the front of fan spider (4) and the fan drive adapter with an alignment mark so the fan can be installed in the same position on the adapter.
6. Fasten a nylon strap and hoist to fan spider (4). The weight of the fan spider is 35 kg (77 lb.).
7. Remove the bolts that hold fan spider (4) to the adapter, and remove the fan spider.
NOTE: The following steps are for installation of the fan assembly.
8. Be sure the mating surfaces of the fan spider and adapter are clean.
9. Install the fan spider with the front toward the direction marked.
9. Complete the fan spider installation, upper plate installation and fan guard installation.
10. Fill the cooling system. See the Maintenance Guide.
