Usage:
NOTE: The tool box was removed from the fender for photo purposes only.
1. Disconnect wires (1) from the fuel pressure switch.
2. Remove fuel lines (2), (3), (4) and (5). Put caps on the fuel line openings.
3. Remove the four bolts, bracket (6), the fuel filter base and fuel filter from the engine oil cooler.
4. Move plate (7) and the two fuel lines clear of the fuel transfer pump.
5. Remove three nuts (8) and fuel transfer pump (9) from the pump drive housing.
Install Fuel Transfer Pump (Earlier Interim Scroll Fuel System)
1. Be sure the O-ring seal is in position on the fuel transfer pump, and put clean oil on the O-ring seal. Put fuel transfer pump (1) in position on the pump drive housing, and install the three nuts that hold it in place.
2. Put plate (2) in position on the engine oil cooler.
3. Put bracket (3) in position on the engine oil cooler, and install the bolts that hold it in place.
4. Install fuel lines (4), (5), (7) and (8).
5. Connect wires (6) to the fuel pressure switch.
6. Remove the air from the fuel system. See the Maintenance Guide.
