NOTE: Some parts must be fabricated.
Hood Modification
1. Remove the hood from the machine.
2. Remove section (1) from the hood.
3. Cut section (2) from the hood at the dimensions shown.
4. Use mild type steel 3 mm (.12") thick to fabricate one plate (3). Drill two 5.5 mm (.22") diameter holes (A) at the dimensions shown.
5. Use mild type steel 3 mm (.12") thick to fabricate one plate (4) at the dimensions shown. To form the plate, make a notch at location (B).
6. Weld plates (3) and (4) in position on the hood as shown.
7. Install the hood.
Installation of Windshield Frame
1. Use mild type steel to fabricate two lugs (1) at the dimensions shown. Drill two 8.2 mm (.32") diameter holes (A) and make threads with a 3/8" - 16 tap.
2. Use 25 × 25 mm (1.0" × 1.0") angle 3.2 mm (.12") thick to fabricate one angle (2) at the dimensions shown. Drill two 7.5 mm (.30") diameter holes (B).
3. Remove the handrail (located left side front) and the windshield wiper arms.
4. Remove the windshield glass.
5. Remove the plastic cover from the wiring harness and wiper motor.
