Usage:
Introduction
This instruction gives the procedure to service a 613/613B Speed Reducer Group with a 613C Speed Reducer Group.
Reference: Parts Book, Service Manual.
1. Use the procedures in the service manual to remove the elevator chain assembly, the elevator drive sprockets and the speed reducer.
2. Make a template using the full size illustration included in this instruction.
3. Use the template to mark new hole locations and profile on gear reducer end of guard.
4. Modify the guard using an air carbon arc torch or similar tool.
5. Chamfer the gear reducer end of drive shaft using a 9.4 mm (.37") chamfer. The chamfer is needed to provide clearance for the speed reducer washer.
NOTE: Install sprockets with stamped numbers towards gear reducer. Sprocket gear half notches must be in alignment with each other.
8. Reinstall hydraulic motor to gear reducer with 5F3999 Seal.
9. Install 2T2754 Tube Assembly (1) and 2T2755 Tube Assembly (2) using 4J0520 Seals and 4J0524 Seals.
10. Rotate motor case drain elbow 180 degrees and route hose under the hydraulic motor. (3) Old Routing. (4) New Routing.
11. Secure hoses using 8J7081 Straps (5).
12. Install 9J0211 Link Assemblies to elevator chain and reinstall chain.
13. Install guard using 0S1573 Bolts, 2T2753 Spacers and 5P8245 Washers in the gear reducer end and original bolts and washers on the other end.
