START BY:

a. remove turbocharger

1. Loosen hose clamp (1), and remove two clamps (2) from the breather tube.

2. Move breather tube (3) out of the way, and remove nuts (4) and spacers (5) that hold the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head assembly.

3. Remove exhaust manifold (6) and the gasket.

Install Exhaust Manifold

1. Put new gaskets in position on the cylinder head assembly. Put exhaust manifold (1) in position on the studs.

2. Put 5P3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the studs. Install the spacers and nuts (2) that hold the exhaust manifold. Tighten the nuts in the numerical sequence shown to a torque of 49 ± 7 N·m (36 ± 5 lb.ft.).

3. Put the breather tube in position, and install the clamps and hose clamp (3).
