Engine Oil Cooler

Usage:

Remove Engine Oil Cooler

1. Drain the oil from the oil cooler. Drain the coolant from the engine.

2. Remove four bolts (3) that hold the oil cooler to the oil filter base.

3. Remove four bolts (1) that hold the oil cooler to the cylinder block. Remove engine oil cooler (2).

4. Remove the inlet coupling from the water pump.

5. Remove water outlet pipe (4) from the oil cooler.

Install Engine Oil Cooler

1. Put clean engine oil on the O-ring seal. Install the water outlet pipe into the oil cooler.

2. Put clean engine oil on O-ring seals (1) of the coupling, and install coupling (2) in the water inlet pipe.

3. Put the oil cooler in position on the filter base.

4. Install the four bolts that hold the oil cooler to the oil filter base.

5. Install the four bolts that hold the oil cooler to the cylinder block. Fill the engine with coolant to the correct level and check the engine oil level. See the Maintenance Guide.
