Usage:
START BY:
a. remove fuel priming pump
1. Disconnect fuel lines (1) and (2). Put caps in the lines and fittings to keep dirt out of the fuel system.
2. Remove fuel filter (3) from the fuel filter base with tool (A).
3. Remove two nuts (4) and fuel filter base (5) from the aftercooler housing.
Install Fuel Filter And Base
1. Put fuel filter base (1) in position on the studs in the aftercooler housing. Install the two nuts that hold it to the aftercooler housing.
2. Install fuel filter (2) on the fuel filter base. Follow the instructions on the filter for the correct installation procedure.
3. Connect fuel lines (3) and (4) to the fuel filter base.
4. Install the fuel priming pump. See Install Fuel Priming Pump.
5. Remove the air from the fuel system. See Priming The Fuel System in the Maintenance Guide.
