3145, 3150 & 3160 ELECTRIC SET ENGINES Caterpillar

1. Disconnect fuel outlet line (2) and fuel inlet line (1).

2. Remove the mounting bolts and the filter base (3).

FUEL FILTER BASE (Typical Example)
1. Fuel inlet line. 2. Fuel outlet line. 3. Fuel filter base.

Install Fuel Filter Base

1. Position the filter base and install the mounting bolts.

2. Connect fuel outlet line (2) and fuel inlet line (1).
