Oil Pump

Usage:

Remove Oil Pump

1. Disconnect inlet hose (1) and remove inlet flange bolts (2).

2. Remove inlet flange (3) and outlet flange (4).

3. Remove pump mounting bolts (5)

4. Remove oil pump (6).

Install Oil Pump

1. Put oil pump shaft splines in alignment with the splines (1) inside the oil pump drive.

2. Install oil pump.

3. Install outlet flange.

4. Install inlet flange.

5. Connect inlet hose and pipe.

Disassemble Oil Pump

start by:

a) remove oil pump.

1. Remove oil strainer housing and pipe (1).

2. Remove oil pump cover bolts (2).

3. Remove oil pump cover (3).

4. Remove spacer plate (4).

5. Remove driving gear (5) and driven gear (6).

6. Remove pump body (7).

7. Remove spacer plate (8).

8. Inspect needle bearings (9) in bracket. Remove them only if necessary.

9. Remove seal holder (10) and O-ring seal (11).

Assemble Oil Pump

1. Install needle bearings in mounting bracket using tool (A).

2. Install seal holder (1) and O-ring seal (2).

3. Install spacer plate (3).

4. Install pump body (4).

5. Install gear (5) and gear (6).

6. Install spacer plate (7).

7. Install oil pump cover bearings using tool (A).

8. Install pump cover (8).

9. Install oil pump cover bolts (9).

10. Install oil strainer housing and short pipe nipple (10).

end by:

a) install oil pump.
