Oil Cooler

Usage:

Remove And Install Oil Cooler

NOTE: Remove oil and coolant before oil cooler removal.

1. Disconnect hose (4) that goes to control valve at union (1).

2. Disconnect thermostat (8) at two joint assemblies (3), which includes two seals.

3. Remove four bolts, lockwashers and nuts (6) and remove mounting brackets (2).

4. Remove the oil cooler (7).

5. Remove bonnet (5) and inspect the gasket. Make a replacement of the gasket if it is broken or damaged.

6. Remove valve (10) after four bolts (9) are removed.

7. Clean cores (11) with rod (12).

8. Install the thermostat valve (13), but do not damage the O-ring seal (14). Make a replacement of the seal if it is broken or damaged.

9. Install a new gasket if necessary and connect bonnet (5) to cooler (7).

10. Connect the thermostat (8) at the two joint assemblies (3).

11. Install the two mounting brackets (2) with four bolts, lockwashers and nuts (6).

12. Connect hose (4) that goes to control valve at union (1).

13. Fill cooler (7) with coolant to correct level.
