Tachometer Drive
Usage:
Remove And Install Tachometer Drive
NOTE: The fuel injection pump housing and governor does not have to be removed to remove or install the tachometer drive.
1. Disconnect the cable from the tachometer drive housing.
2. Remove two bolts and clamps (1).
3. Remove adapter group (2). Remove O-ring seal (3) from adapter group (2).
4. Remove coupling (4).
5. Install coupling (4) on shaft (5).
6. Put the same lubricant on the O-ring seal as that being sealed. Install the seal on the adapter group.
7. Install the adapter group with the two bolts and clamps.
8. Connect the cable to the tachometer drive housing.
