Usage:
NOTE: This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI1331" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI1331" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
Problem
When the truck body is being lowered to the frame and the lever is in the power down mode, then hydraulic oil pressure can be#20trapped in the line between the counterbalance valve and the hoist cylinder on certain 789 and 789B Trucks. The trapped oil may result in a spray of high pressure oil if the line is loosened.

Rework Procedure
Refer to the Service Manual as necessary. Prepare the machine by draining the oil from the hydraulic tank. Make sure all the pressure in the hydraulic system has been released before disconnecting any oil lines.
1. Remove from the 5T4479 Hoist Oil Lines Group the 8W0073 Block and all of the hoses connected to the block.
2. Install 1T0936 Plug-Pipe into 3E7432 Elbow and 3J1907 Seal on 3E7432 Elbow before installing into 1422890 Block.
3. Install 1422890 Block with existing bolts and washers and reconnect hose assemblies.
4. Install 1422988 Tee-Swivel on the 3E7432 Elbow by using 6V8397 Seals and connect new hose assembly 6I7568 and reconnect hose assembly 8X1214.
5. Remove (4) 5S7382 Bolts from the 9T9898 Valve Assembly and install 1422891 Adapter and 4J0520 Seal with new (4) 8T9377 Bolts & existing washers.
6. Install 6V8781 Tee and 3J1907 Seal into port on the 1422891 Adapter. Install 6I7568 and 1406164 Hose Assembly by using 6V8397 Seals into the 6V8781 Tee.
7. Reconnect hose as. to 9T9898 Valve As.
8. Disconnect 8W4033 Hose As. from the 8W8380 Tube As. on the 5T1026 Oil Cooler Lines Gp. and install 8W5005 Adapter and 6J2680 Seal using new (4) 8T8920 Bolts.
9. Install 9S4185 Plug and 3K0360 Seal into port on the 8W5005 Adapter.
10. Remove 6V8724 Elbow, 3J1907 Seal and 6V8397 Seal from 8W0073 Block and install into 8W5005 Adapter.
11. Connect 1406164 Hose As. and check for loose fittings and bolts.
12. Fill hydraulic tank to the proper level.
