Product Support Program For Replacing The Only Wastegate On Certain 793, 793B, And 793C Trucks Caterpillar

NOTE: This Program can only be administered after a failure occurs. The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS5263" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

Problem

The wastegate may wear resulting in an early hour low or high boost pressure warning on certain 793, 793B, and 793C Trucks.

1 - 7C9710 Gasket

4 - 2N2766 Locknut

2 - 0336033 Seal

1 - 1269398 Bypass Group (for 793 and 793B)

1 - 1364405 Bypass Group (for 793C only)

Action Required

Replace the existing bypass group with a new bypass group.

NOTE: 793 and 793B Trucks use a new 1269398 Bypass Group. 793C Trucks use a new 1364405 Bypass Group.
