The Fisher G300 Series Gas Pressure Regulator used on G3406 Gas Engines may have difficulty with the retention of the vent flapper assembly. The staking operation, that retains the flapper assembly in the regulator case, was not complete. If the flapper valve should come loose and fall on top of the diaphragm, the engine will continue to run but can be erratic.
