Description of Change: New water pump groups with many improvements are used on 3304 and 3306 Machine Engines. These improvements include:

* Cast iron low inertia impeller

* Corrosion resistant stainless steel shaft

* Straight press fit between impeller and shaft helps prevent loosening.

* Corrosion resistant stainless steel shaft

* Single piece water seal for improved fluid sealing

* Dual lip oil seal for improved fluid sealing

* Redesigned inlet pump housing provides reduced inlet restriction

* Redesigned inlet pump housing included a reservoir in conjunction with a weep hole to handle any coolant drips that get past the water seal

* Improved gasket between pump housing and cover

Adaptable To: The new and former water pump groups (basic) are identified in the chart. The new water pump groups (basic) are in effect as shown in the subtitle. The new water pump groups (basic) are a direct replacement for the former water pump groups (basic) which have been canceled.
