Turbocharger Nozzle Cleaning{1052}

This article replaces the article with the same title on Page 10 of the January 1996 issue of Engine News.

A more effective method of cleaning the turbocharger nozzles and turbine wheels has recently been found. Place the turbocharger nozzle and turbine wheel in agitated water for 16 to 24 hours. Remove the nozzle and wheel from the water and blow dry with compressed air. No chemicals or solvents work better than just plain water.
