New Plastic Water Sleeve Used
Usage:
3208 Engines
Description of Change: A new plastic sleeve is used between the cylinder head and the front cover on 3208 Engines. The new sleeve will not corrode. It also makes cylinder head removal much easier than with the former sleeve. The sleeve can be simply broken with a screwdriver or chisel through the groove in the plastic sleeve.
NOTE: These sleeves are for 3208 Engines only and are not suitable for either 1100 or 3100 Series Engines. The new plastic sleeves are to be used only once. Do not reassemble a used plastic sleeve into an engine.
Adaptable To: The new, plastic 4W3122 Sleeve is a direct replacement for the former metal 9N416 Sleeve. Refer to the illustration for location.
