Larger Diameter Washer Is Used To Hold Air Transfer Pipe In Aftercooler Flange
Usage:
3306 Industrial Engines (66D, 70R)
Description of Change: A 1.26 inch (32.0 mm) diameter washer is now used in place of the former 1.12 inch (28.5 mm) diameter washer to hold the air transfer pipe in the aftercooler flange (see the Illustration). With the former washer it was possible for vibration to cause the air transfer pipe to come loose and fall out.
Adaptable As: The new, larger diameter 6N8863 Washer is a direct replacement for the former 8M7145 Washer.
