New Seals In Pump Fastener Group And Fuel Injection Pump Group Have Improved Heat Set Resistance{1251}

Usage:

3406C (3ZJ, 4CK) Truck Engines

Description of Change: New seals with improved heat set resistance are being used in the fuel injection pump and the fuel injection pump fastener group. After a high number of miles, the former seals could take a permanent set. This could result in leaks. The new seals will provide extended service life.

Adaptable To: Illustration 1 and Chart A identify the new seals in the fuel injection pump fastener group. The new fuel injection pump fastener group seals are in effect with 3406C Truck Engines 3ZJ49546 and 4CK24376. The new seals are adaptable to all earlier engines with new scroll fuel systems.

Illustration 2 and Chart B identify the new seals in the fuel injection pump group. The new fuel injection pump group seals are in effect with 3406C Truck Engine 3ZJ55312. The new seals are adaptable all earlier engines with new scroll fuel systems.
