New Rotary Solenoid (Brushless Torque Motor) Used In PEEC Engines
Usage:
3406B (5YG, 8TC) Truck Engines
Description of Change: A new rotary solenoid (brushless torque motor) is used in the rack position in these PEEC engines. The pin on the new solenoid has an improved design which provides additional pin relief. The new design will decrease instability at idle caused by the binding between the solenoid pin and the rack control sleeve. See the illustrations.
Adaptable To: The new 9X6770 Rotary Solenoid is a direct replacement for the former 6T1789 Solenoid (canceled). This change is effective with 3406B (8TC13193, 5YG386) Truck Engines and is adaptable to first production
