Modification Of Puller Bolt Prevents Thread Damage During Removal Of Sleeve From Sleeve Metering Fuel System{0621,1251,1253}
Usage:
The 2H3740 Bolt, which is part of the 5P4203 Field Service Tool Group, is used during removal of the 4N2954 Sleeve from the camshaft in the sleeve metering fuel system.
It is possible for the threads of the 2H3740 Bolt to be damaged if it is used without modification.
Modification of the bolt will prevent this damage. To do this, grind a 2 to 4 mm (.079 to .157 ") bevel at the end of the threads as shown in the Illustration.
